A Wonderful Life

I live a life of freedom…
Freedom to go wherever the wind blows and my fancy takes me.
Freedom from the  bills that leave you living life paycheck to paycheck. I decided if I was going to be broke and poor all my life then I want to do it in my own way, on my own terms and in a way that brings me peace, joy and comfort. I have a gypsy spirit and there is nothing wrong with that. I may settle for a while, but when that calling strikes my soul, I know I must heed the call in order to continue living a life of fulfillment, peace and joy. There are some who may shake their heads and consider me a vagabond wasting away my life.  Well, Maybe I am. What others think of me is not my business or my problem. I don’t go around telling anyone how they should live  because I believe we must all live the life that fulfills us. I may not like their choices, but as long as they are not hurting me or anyone else, I say live and let live! I choose to live the nomadic lifestyle and I absolutely love it! And, contrary to what most people believe, this lifestyle is much more affordable with my limited income than living in a stick and brick. So much so that for the first time in my life I can actually build a decent savings account for emergencies or whatever may come up. Once I began my life of freedom, I rise to greet the glorious sunrise that has become my morning news and my day ends with the grand finale of a breathtaking sunset and a night sky that leaves you in complete awe as I wonder…. “Is this real life?”

Now, no one said that a life of freedom also means a life free of challenges. There are plenty of obstacles and challenges that must be overcome. But there are obstacles, challenges and hard times no matter the path you choose to live in life. How we react to those challenges is what will always determine how much we love our life and how blessed we truly are with each day we are given to live the life we have chosen.
I love my life…. hard time and all. Because without the hard times and the challenges how can we grow? How can we learn? Most importantly…. how can we appreciate how blessed we are when we experience those days that bring us so much joy. I live my life for the joys, the blessings, and every person who has crossed my path and have enriched my life even more in their own way. So no matter how rough the road may get, the sun will rise and set each day and how I choose to make the best of those hours is completely up to me…. it is completely up to you as well.

Stop the hate, the jealousies, and the competitions to be better than the next man. Focus instead on loving people in the way you would like to be loved and treating them in the same way you would like to be treated. Life is so short. We have no idea how long we have to make the best of our time. Tomorrow is promised to no one. So why waste it by feeling anything other than love, joy and peace in your life. Why waste tears of sadness or anger on those who may never care how much they hurt you. Be better than they are. Just do whatever you need to do to live the life that you have always dreamed of. Just make sure you are blessing others along the way.

Every good seed you sow will only breed goodness and love. It will allow those whom you have touched to pay it forward in the same way. Peace for the world is possible…. if only we do our part in any small gesture to make it happen- one human at a time. So go on… Live your life… Live your dreams…. Live your own sense of true freedom. I know I am and I’ll be waiting for you to join me in this life of freedom that is overwhelmingly filled with Peace, Love, Joy and so many blessings…. It really is a wonderful life!

I am a freelance Photographer, Artist, writer and I love sharing the beauty of the world around us through all of my work. I am also a self-proclaimed old hippie. I love my life on the road and it is through my travels that I can bring you amazing photographs and art. My photography reflects my time on the road having worked in Yellowstone National Park, The Grand Tetons and Death Valley National Park. I also spent a winter in Quartzsite Arizona. I love being surrounded by the beauty of nature and sharing that beauty with everyone. Keep checking on my work because I will continually bring you more amazing photographs from all over. My artwork is always uniquely freehand and colorful. There is no rhyme or reason to my patterns. My hand draws whatever feels right. At times I will take one of my hand created artwork and change it digitally. I try to make my work into conversation pieces or work that leaves you wondering. The meaning of my art is anything you need it to mean.I will continually be adding more new pieces of art so be sure not to miss out on any of my work. I hope you enjoy my work. Keep living a life of freedom that overflows with Peace, Love and Happiness! Be sure not to miss out on any new additions. Add me as a friend on my facebook page where I will be updating daily new additions: https://www.facebook.com/mistyck.moon.16
